Created in collaboration with internationally exhibited painter Karl Maughan, this limited edition design captures his signature ever in bloom world in layered, luminous detail.

For decades, Karl Maughan has explored the cultivated garden as a framework for painting, building immersive worlds through dense foliage and luminous colour. This collaboration translates that rich, imagined landscape onto our canopy, celebrating a practice defined by depth, detail and perpetual bloom.

For this collaboration, the canopy design is drawn from the 2018 Rawhiti Terrace painting Maughan created for Gow Langsford. It is a careful rendering of a particular garden, half from England and half from Christchurch, layered and abundant in composition. Built through energetic brushwork, the foliage and flora verge on the fantastical while remaining rooted in observation.
